Skilled Workers Matching Platform
Overview
LMOQEF is a bilingual job-matching platform (French/Arabic) built to connect skilled workers (e.g. electricians, carpenters, painters) with local clients across Morocco. Designed with accessibility in mind, the platform enables workers to create detailed service profiles, showcase real project portfolios, and receive direct inquiries via WhatsApp , eliminating friction in the hiring process.
As part of our final year project, I worked closely with Ayoub for both the frontend architecture and UI/UX design using React.js and Tailwind CSS , and also for the backend logic in PHP with an MVC structure
🚧 Problem We Solved
In many regions, especially underserved areas, skilled workers face critical barriers that prevent them from growing their businesses and reaching new clients:
- Zero Digital Presence: Many workers lack a professional platform to display their skills, making it nearly impossible to stand out or earn trust online.
- Broken Trust Loop: Clients hesitate to hire without proof of past work, reviews, or verified credentials — leading to missed opportunities on both sides.
- Disconnected Communication Channels: Traditional hiring processes are slow and unclear, often involving unreliable referrals or outdated listings.
- No Feedback System: Without visibility into client satisfaction or work history, there's little accountability or quality control , leading to poor hiring experiences.
